Thomas Drewry - Founder and Managing Partner
Prior to founding the firm in 2003, Thomas co-founded Hiller Drewry, a search boutique specialising in investment banking, private equity and hedge funds. Previously, he worked for the corporate finance departments of Hambros Bank and ABN Amro. Thomas graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) with a first class degree in Politics and Economics. He is a dual British and French citizen.
Stéphane Rambosson - Managing Partner
Stéphane joined Veni Partners in 2008 from Citi, where he was Head of Equity Capital Markets for France and oversaw the European industrials franchise. He spent thirteen years in investment banking, having been Manager at Schroders in the industrials group in corporate finance in London and in the French investment banking team. He started his career at S.G. Warburg. Stéphane graduated with honours from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and obtained a masters degree in finance from ESCP business school. He is an RCS-accredited coach, business and executive mentor, Chairman of Sciences Po Alumni UK, Trustee of Sciences Po Alumni UK Trust, Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur de la France au Royaume-Uni (CCE UK) and member of the think-tank Cercle d'outre Manche.
Isabelle Hotimsky - Partner, Veni NFP
Isabelle is a Partner and leads the Veni NFP practice. Alongside this she is also involved in the execution of Board mandates. She has over 18 years experience as a partner in executive search with major London-based global firms including Heidrick & Struggles and Korn/Ferry where she was most recently Head of Financial Services - EMEA and served on the European Management Committee. Isabelle’s expertise spans sectors including investment banking, capital markets and asset management as well as senior management and Board appointments. Isabelle started her career at JP Morgan before joining BNP in Paris, London and New York, mainly in capital markets. Isabelle’s personal interest in the not-for-profit sector is based on her current role as a patron of various art institutions, in the UK and abroad, and as a Trustee of the Institute of Cancer Research in London. She has also been actively involved in a number of charities in her native Belgium. She has a degree in Economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and an MBA from Columbia University. She is a Belgian national and speaks fluent Spanish.
John Purkiss - Partner, Veni Board
John leads Veni's Board Practice. He began his career in banking and management consultancy, and has helped to launch several new businesses. John became a partner with Heidrick & Struggles prior to co-founding Purkiss & Company, which specialised in recruiting chairmen, chief executives and finance directors. He is the co-author of How to be Headhunted and Brand You. John studied economics at Cambridge University and has an MBA from INSEAD, where he was awarded the Henry Ford II Prize. He has lived and worked in Belgium, France and the USA. John speaks English, French, German and Spanish.
Anna Marietta - Principal
Prior to joining Veni Partners in 2010, Anna spent four years at Korn/Ferry Whitehead Mann as a Senior Associate in the Financial Services Team in London. She had a broad remit and worked on numerous searches across global markets and investment banking. She previously worked for five years at a search boutique specialised in primary and secondary markets mandates. Anna obtained a Business Administration degree from Bocconi University and moved to London in 1999. She is a native Italian speaker also fluent in Spanish and French.
Michaela Rosbrook – Consultant
Michaela joined Veni Partners in 2010 and has five years' experience in recruitment and financial services executive search. More recently she has specialised in the Asset Management and Structured Finance sectors Michaela was previously an Associate in the Financial Services team at Hanson Green and prior to this worked in the Investment Banking Practice at the Rose Partnership. She has an LLB in Law and Business Studies from Birmingham University.
Julia Gallop - Chief Operating Officer
Julia joined Veni Partners in 2010 as COO. Following an early career in equity sales with a number of US and Asian financial institutions including Lehman Brothers, Julia began her career in executive search in 1995 where she spent five years as a search consultant specialising in Investment Banking and Capital Markets. Since 2000 she has worked for a number of international search firms in senior operational roles including Baines Gwinner and Highland Partners (formerly TMP Worldwide). Most recently, Julia was a Partner at Whitehead Mann in charge of the Business Services function. Julia graduated from the University of St Andrews with a degree in French. She is also an accredited mediator and executive coach. Julia is bilingual in English and French.
